The theoretical concepts, doctrines, kinds, types, criteria and forms of an international legal recognition was examined in the article. Also this article tells about modern practice of their realization in the international relations. Necessity of the valid support of formation of new subjects of international law from outside the international community was underlined in the article. International legal recognition was examined as the set of the norms regulating and directing formation of new subjects of international law – the states.
